I work as a freelancer and a client hasn't paid as per our agreement and terms
I work as a freelancer and a client hasn’t paid das per our agreement and terms. Can I use the contract I signed with my client to legally force them to pay?

I would advise you to review the contract you signed with the client to ensure that it clearly outlines the payment terms such as the amount, due date and consequences for non-payment. You should inform your client in writing regarding the matter. If the client seems unresponsive, you can take legal action.

Hello, if you have a signed contract between you and the client that clearly states the terms of payment and the client has breached it by not paying you, you can use the contract to enforce your rights. You can start by sending a formal demand letter. If after sending the demand letter, the client doesn't pay, you can go ahead to seek legal advice from a lawyer.

Review/check your payment terms and follow up by sending a polite email or calling the client. You can still go directly to their accounts department if you've been previously paid from the client or publication. You can still remind them on your agreement. If the seems unresponsive, you can take a legal action.
