The judiciary is one of the three state organs established under Chapter 10, article 159 of the constitution of Kenya. It is an independent custodian of justice. The Judiciary's main role is to interpret the laws in exercise of it's judicial authority. It also ensures fair dispute resolution and uphold the rights of Citizens. It performs it's function of administering justice in an independent, transparent, efficient and timely manner and upholds the concept of quality services which includes all rights and freedom provided under Chapter 4 of the constitution through the judicial institutions.
