There are many avenues to report employee discrimination in Kenya. It should be reported to the immediate supervisor or someone in higher authority in an organization. If these measures fail, the aggrieved employee may employ alternative methods like reporting the matter to external organizations such as The National Gender and Equality Commission and Kenya Human Rights Commission. Reporting to such organizations ensures that confidentiality is maintained. It is therefore advisable to gather enough evidence to form enough grounds for reporting workplace discrimination.

Employee discrimination at workplace is one of the major challenges facing employees in Kenya. There are many ways to report discrimination in Kenya. First, the employee should report to the immediate supervisor, manager or even the employer if they have direct interactions. If this fails, the aggrieved employee may try the alternative dispute resolution methods by reporting the matter to organizations such as the Kenya Human Rights Commission. If this does not work, you might report the matter to an employment tribunal where in Kenya we have the Employment and Labour Relations Court(ELRC) established under Article 162(2)(a) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
