Section 250 of The Companies Act No. 17 of 2015: What particulars of secretaries are required to be registered: natural Persons

    

(1) If the secretary of a public company is a natural person, the company shallensure that its register of secretaries contains the following particulars: (a) the name and any former name of the secretary; and (b) the address of the secretary.
(2) A public company's register of secretaries is not required to containparticulars of a person's former name if—
(a) the person's former name was changed or disused before the person reached eighteen years of age; or
(b) the person's name has been changed or disused for twenty years or more.
(3) The address required to be stated in the register under subsection (1) is a service address, which may be the registered office of the company.
