Section 535 of The Companies Act No. 17 of 2015: Application of Part XXII
(1) This Part applies only to public companies.
(2) This Part applies to the issued shares of a public company, or the issuedshares of a class shares of a public company, that confer rights to vote in all circumstances at general meetings of the company (including shares held as treasury shares).
(3) The temporary suspension of voting rights in respect of particular shares does not affect the application of this Part in relation to interests in those or any other shares.
