Section 739 of The Companies Act No. 17 of 2015: Resolution removing auditor from office

    

(1) The members of a company may remove an auditor from office at any time.
(2) The power to remove an auditor under subsection (1) is exercisable only(a) by ordinary resolution at a meeting; and (b) in accordance with section 740.
(3) This section does not affect any right that a person may have to claimcompensation or damages for the termination of the person's appointment as auditor of a company or of any other appointment that is dependent on the person being appointed as such an auditor.
(4) An auditor may not be removed from office before the end of the auditor's term of office except by resolution under this section.
