L&K was first registered in 1997 as Lilan & Koech Advocates and was converted into a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) in 2011. The firm has since inception, progressively established itself as a leading firm thanks to a growing clientele, both individual and corporate. Owing to the variety and diverse interests of its clientele, L&K has built expertise and experience in a large spectrum of legal practice areas.
The head office of the firm is situated at 5th Avenue Office Suites, 2nd Floor, Suite No. 9, 5th Ngong Avenue, Nairobi. It is strategically located in Upper Hill, the financial and commercial hub of the City.
L&K comprises of two partners, namely Paul Lilan and Philemon Koech Busienei and a legal consultant and five associate advocates. Together they form a strong team of legal practitioners with varied expertise in diverse areas of practice. L&K invests in training and nurturing young graduate lawyers who join the firm annually for pupillage. The Finance and Administration Manager, Client Service Executive, Logistics and Records officer complete the firm’s profile.
